I got these old decoys that my great uncle made years ago. Do I put them on a display shelf as is or give them some fresh paint? If I paint them do I paint them how they were originally painted or get creative with the paint and make some pairs? A pair of mallards, a pair of black ducks, etc.
Anchor! I use a light weight galvanized anchor, probably weighs 6 or 7 pounds and holds great. In a canoe be sure to use a knot that you can release quickly with one hand in case a few big rollers come your way. Something I’ve only had to do once but probably saved me from a canoe full of water...

I’m looking for the good, the bad, and the ugly. Specifically Colville/Kettle Falls area. We have an opportunity to relocate there and it seems like a great area. Is there anyone who lives or has lived there that is willing to chat for a bit sometime about the area? Thanks, Kevin.
Are there any active members that live in this area that are willing to chat on the phone sometime? Trying to get as much insight as possible; schools, winter weather, summer weather, amenities, bugs, allergies, local politics, etc. This is a really tough decision.
Thanks,
Kevin
After some time to digest my grocery bill I found a silver lining; a $1000 rifle only costs 20 small bags of groceries, a $200 fishing rod only cost 4 small bags of groceries.
