My bracket doesn’t matter since I lost 2 final four teams in the first round but there will be some great games next weekend with 9 of the top 10 rated teams battling to advance. It’s a sweet 16 field loaded with heavy hitters.
If you’re looking at the Mossberg Silver Reserve I wouldn’t recommend it. I have a Silver Reserve 20 gauge. It was a nice little shotgun until it started firing both barrels at once. It turns out that it’s a somewhat common problem with them.
All 4 number 2 seeds survived the first weekend. That’s rare. If UCONN and Purdue win all 8 of the top seeded teams will make it to the sweet 16. I wonder when that last happened. It’s starting to look like it would have been a good year to ride it out with the top seeded teams but there’s a lot...
A lot of things will work. If you go with a 12 gauge, which makes a great turkey gun, I wouldn’t recommend a pump action. Shooting turkey loads from a lightweight pump action 12 gauge kinda sucks.
Can someone help me out. Is this separate from the bracket I did for the group that @jabber set up? I’d hate to use the same bracket in two different groups and get last place in both of them.
I’ve been guilty of leaving stands up for a few seasons that I have hauled a ways in. I always have good intentions to at least lay them at the base of the tree after season but sometimes I don’t get back to them. I’ve also broken the speed limit while going hunting. With that said if I ever saw...
Where I live changing the clocks makes good sense. If we stayed on DST it wouldn’t get light in the winter until 8 or 8:30. Kids would be waiting for the bus or walking to school in the dark. People would be crabby the first hour or two at work until the sun showed itself. I did 3 dark Fairbanks...
I bought a used bow on this site from @MN_Bowhunter4 The transaction went well. I’d say most people that have been around this place for a few years are trustworthy enough to buy from if you wait until something you like is posted in the classifieds.
I got a Garmin Striker 7 for Christmas. I think my wife and daughter were tired of hearing me complain about my Helix because it wasn’t working correctly. We do most of our fishing from a canoe so I need it to be portable. Here’s my finished product. Hopefully this is helpful for some canoe and...
If I could go back to 1994 I’d go to college in Charleston. One of the coolest college towns in the country. Not sure what I was thinking when I went to college in Duluth MN.
