    I don’t have the regs in front of me right now. The Beartooths, east of big timber used to have a quota I believe. This may or may not be the case anymore. There’s better bear hunting than the Beartooths offer.

    MT bear success

    Thanks again for input on the hide. I rolled it up after folding in half lengthwise flesh side to flesh side. Threw it in the freezer Saturday morning after getting it checked. Took it to taxidermist this morning & he said I did it the right way.

    Thanks much for the input on the hide guys! The pics were moments before a rather heavy rain and mere minutes before my dunking. By the time I went wading in the creek I was wet enough to barely notice aside from water sloshing in my boots.
