Is it just me, or do Pneumonia and COVID go hand-in-hand? Lot's of people seem to have them close to the same time. Maybe because they are both lung conditions??
Sounds like you've got the "rona" to me! Loss of taste and smell is definitely the most common symptom in my experience (30+ people that I know personally). You'll feel better in a couple days, but you might not get your sense of taste and smell completely back for a month or more.
I have a Tika in 7mm-08 as well. The plastic stock feels a little cheap, but that is my only complaint. The recoil is wonderfully mild, the trigger is crisp, and the ballistics are wonderful. I think you will wind up buying one for each kid. ;)
Bigjay73 knows what he is talking about.
I live in Cheyenne WY, 45 minutes North of Fort Collins.
Here is a list of things to do in Fort Collins: Go tour the Budweiser Plant, or the New Belgium Brewing if you drink. I don't drink, but by all accounts those are great tours. The Museum of...
You will be go to go next year-even if your brother had trouble using his non-resident license to get a resident guiding license, he can just pull a GEN deer or elk tag over the counter. Btw, he is legally allowed to have Non-resident and Resident tags for the same season. I had to make sure...
My Dad and I both did it at the same moment. We were hunting a thick forest in Western PA when I was a teenager, and my Dad's uncle came hiking through the pines with a big walking stick in each hand. We couldn't see the upper half of his body, and for just that first moment those sticks looked...
I've only had it three times, I got really careful in the Sun after the third escapade.
It is the most irritating, agonizing thing I have experienced, but it does go away after a couple days.
Hang in there, and let us know if you find anything that helps!
Growing up back East, we shot many, many deer on public land deer drives. A short action made all the difference in the world if you needed a fast follow-up shot. For that reason alone, I still prefer short action rifles, even though I haven't hunted that way in many years.
I moved to Wyoming a little over a year ago, and I hope to never, ever leave. Even without the hunting opportunities, the people, taxes, and the firearm laws make it worthwhile to stay. As a bonus, the last time we had a Democrat for a Senator was in 1977!
Yeah, I get Hell's Itch. Nobody understands it, except the people who actually get it.
The only relief I get is from water. I have never found a spray, lotion, or pill that made much of a difference, and some seem to make it worse.
Fill up your bathtub and lay down in it, to get (some) relief...
The Cheyenne Wyoming store shelves are looking much better as well. Only primers and .45 Colt cartridges are scarce, although prices here are still very high.
LRH Fox, I was up around Kaycee WY in March, scouting for Pronghorn and deer. There are quite a few Whitetails near town and the closer to Kaycee, the better. If you get permission to hunt farmland anywhere in the area, you should have no trouble seeing either Whitetails or Mule Deer. I didn't...
