It's the older version, bought it right before they came out with the new version. I'm 6'0 and it fits me fine, just selling because I'm not sure how long it'll be until I get back out west with 2 little kids taking up all my time! -

Last ever hunt
Would have to be one of those wilderness, pack-in 20 mile type hunts for elk somewhere around Yellowstone. Would have to be with my brother and sons.- Sioux33

Hunting notes/logs/journals??
I've been doing this pretty religiously for about 8 yrs now and it's invaluable to go back and look at your postings when heading back to a hunting or fishing spot. I do it in an excel spreadsheet and track date, location, temps (water temp for fishing), wind, elements, time of day, moon phase...- Sioux33

Future MT grizz range
After reading the thread on the possible reintroduction of g bears into the Selway-Bitterroots and seeing how healthy the Yellowstone and Glacier populations are, I'd be curious to hear opinions on what the grizzly range will look like 5-10-15 years down the road. Great Lakes wolves back on endangered species list
I echo what Hoss said, only I hunt in NW MN. We hunt about 800 acres of prime northwoods, swamp, and farm land. Our group of 8 used to fill our tags every year and see deer like you wouldn't believe. This year, we shot one deer and one wolf, and saw more wolf sign than deer sign. Just sad to see...- Sioux33

Reintroduction of grizzlys in Selway-Bitterroot Idaho/Montana
If this goes through I hope both states budget for lost NR license revenue. Along with that the economic impact isn't gonna be pretty for this region. Wow, what a crock. Seems like the hunting version of getting ticketed going 57 in a 55. Pretty sure a warning would've been good enough. Just no common sense anymore these days. Good grief. -

I grew up deer hunting all my life and went on my first western elk /muley hunt and made me wonder if I should ever spend my time sitting, wishing, waiting for a whitetail to walk under me again. MN Wolf Hunt Info
My brother had an all black one walk right by his stand, but didn't draw a tag. I don't understand having a quota and having to draw a tag? Why not have a standard license and still close the season once the quota's reached. MN would make 10x more money doing this, no wonder why we're so broke!- Sioux33

This is good to know as I'm doing the same thing right now. One thing I'm curious about though, why do they have a blank category? When I look under the '# of points' column, I see 0, 1, 2, etc, but also a row before 0 that is blank? Are those people not requesting points if they're unsuccessful?- Sioux33
