This is how I’ve done it with my other rifles and haven’t had an issue finding an accurate load. May just need to be patient on it until I can measure it.
Makes sense on the brass. I’ve loaded the 150 etips in a 308 starting at the nosler listed load and didn’t have issues. I was using nosler brass though. 10% off the max 69.5 listed so 62.5 and work up? @BackofBeyond
Did you run into issues or just prefer something else?
For clarification by being fine I meant I didn’t think I’d be compressed at the starting load for other responses.
I should be picking up my new 300 WSM this next week so I figured I’d load up some bullets today with what components I had around that I don’t use much. My plan was to burn up some 180 ETIPs until I switch over to an Accubond load after shooting the gun a bit.
Nosler manual shows H4831SC 65.5...
300 wsm should be complete shortly and will work up a couple loads with some 175 barnes lrx or 165/180 accubonds for it. Backup is a 300 wm with 180 accubonds. Montana
Somebody needs to go ahead and post the pic of their sow in here to average out the expectations from @Valley1320 NM bear. Then folks can start posting the bears they’ve harvested. Be a team player! I’ll try to assist where I can here in about a week.
