What part of ND? I'm from Devils Lake originally. I'd suggest building points in CO and WY and buy a MT muley tag. One of the most fun hunts I've been on and closest to you.
I'm making the drive up to Fairbanks in June (moving there). It would be awesome if you posted a report of the trip! I'm semi nervous about it but very excited too!
Lot of factors to consider. Are you with a group? Is money an issue? I'd say no on the deer tag as I like to focus on one animal and not get distracted by chasing both especially if we have multiple people with tags. Early season I'd say definitely no but later you might have a better chance of...

Thanks Gerald and thanks for the kind words from everyone else! It was a fun hunt to capture. The moment after he found the bull was a special experience. I tried to just capture it and not get distracted but in my head I knew how special of a moment it was for them.

When you get a new string it will have more force than the old wore out one so you will have less drop, causing it to hit higher than before. Not sure on your sight setup so it is hard to comment on that issue. Maybe add pictures? Peep site being off would make sense as well.
Is below a fair analogy of the situation? Trying to understand it as well and it's a slow day in the office so tried to have some fun with it.
