    I think it makes a nicer crop when it can't fit the entire melon in the shot. One of the biggest things I dislike is when wildlife photographers simply frame the neck and head in the center of the photo and leave a margin around it. For some reason it's just not my favorite composition...

    Yeah all of those things you listed are awesome. I'm especially excited about potentially fishing for salmon. You make a great point about it being easy to go back home. The tough part is all the family experiences we will miss out on.

My wife and I moved to Omaha, NE right out of college and it has helped us grow being that we had to figure everything out ourselves. We know at some point we want to go back home but not sure...

    I wish I could go to the Backcountry Show in Spokane but not sure the dates work. What reasons do you boycott? I honestly haven't heard much about it that's why I ask.

    How hard is it to find them on public land? I have read about other hunts on a refuge where it was difficult to find a cow and requires horses to get through snow. Your hunt looks different though.

    My friend Shayne and I were looking at attending the Western Hunting & Conservation Expo in Salt Lake City on Feb 19-22. Curious if any Hunt Talkers were planning on attending and if people feel it is a worthwhile show to attend? If there are a few HT's it would be fun to have a gathering.
