upgrading my binos
I did not read through the entire three pages but here is my opinion. I really like the 3000 bdx Sig Sauer. Love the glass and the rangability out to past 3000 yards is pretty fun (albeit not that important in most hunting situations.) Got mine for under a grand -

not you but me with my moon boots. Last day of 95 season. A lot of snow poor deer could not even run I shot over it 4 times but the fifth time was a charm and my 12 year old self was so proud. -

When Hunting became shooting.
I have seen more animals get away from a rifle than a bow. Also found more arrow parts in animals living years after the hit. Have not found nearly the bullets. Sorry you have had bad experiences but I believe unity is the answer not taking something away from outdoorsmen. I hate 4 wheelers but...- sethkuhl

Best Kenetrek boots for Elk/Deer hunting?
I used to work timber for the usfs. lots of miles in a week sidehill. (I also have very weak ankles) only pair of kennetreks that held up for me for multiple years were the desert guides. That being said I now wear Lowas and wish I would of then.- sethkuhl

Unusual Elk

I seem to find them on my property but not any of my arrows. In the spring there are some less than honest individuals that hunt "near" my home for turkeys. Thank god have not had a horse "find one " yet. -
