How to questions
If looking for elk, use your nose. If you smell them slow down. Hunt on your gps if in a new area. Elk like bedding on flatter spots some of which don’t show in most mapping but if there is a bench above you move slower into it. Elk can eat anywhere but have to drink, if water is limited in... -

Spring bear planning 2025
I used to say Mineral County had too many bears. FWP opened it up to hound hunting and wow that has changed! Only saw 5 bears all year this year (including 2 in the summer) I cant wait to see the harvest report from this spring.:sick:- sethkuhl

Looking for direction
Buy a book or the water dog dvd s get that dog hunting with successful dogs asap. One thing I do is drop things on purpose to make loud noise when they are a puppy to start getting them over fear of loud noises. Especially when they are eating.
