Awesome. I appreciate the info. That was my concern with the ranger but thought maybe if it was later in the season and the roads were hard to get to trail head it would help in that situation. I will definitely look into some chains when it gets closer. Idk how happy the wife will be with me...- Midwestwhitetail

I have a new GMC 1500 with the 5.3 ecotec. It's a crew cab short box. I am working on plans for next years hunt in wyoming. My truck is all stock currently. Tough Deer Season in Midwest
I believe that is why the numbers were down in missouri. Many of the farmers still had alot of crops in the field. I think it helped give the deer alot more coverage than they can normally find that time of year.- Midwestwhitetail

I hunt in Missouri and for opening day of rifle season the shots were definitely down in my area. My brother in laws and I shot some nice bucks during early bow season. I could have filled a tag or two with some does but none seemed big enough. It was definitely a down year here.- Midwestwhitetail

First time Nonresident Wyoming elk in unit 90 or 94
So I am looking at doing a cow hunt in Wyoming unit 90 or 94. This will be my first hunt out west. I am looking for some tips or advice. Also any advice or opinions on the units I am thinking. Any advice or help will be much appreciated. Thank you- Midwestwhitetail
