2018 archery moose adventure in the Alaskan peninsula. 69.5” wide. 13 pack out trips at 3.2 miles each way. Get you some of that. I was dead! Worried about the Griz at first. By the end I wished one would have grabbed me!!!😜- NoKidsAfter40

No. Unfortunately west of the Rockies it’s true. In states like Vermont, Maine, and New Hampshire you can go after a cow and draw again after a short waiting period. If you seriously want a cow and not lose your chance to draw a bull tag, I recommend getting an OTC tag in BC, Alberta, or...- NoKidsAfter40

I think I will never call myself a "shed hunter" in public
The sad part is a bunch of teenagers and local picked the area clean weeks before. Kinda crazy seeing all those folks so bunched up to compete for sheds sitting in someone’s barn already. 😳- NoKidsAfter40

100% agree. You are getting lots of great advice. The only thing I would say is try to find someone to go with you that can hike and glass. It’s safer, it can I trade your odds, and they can help you set up and pack out your elk! 😜- NoKidsAfter40
