I would suggest asking land owners for access. I know we are always welcoming folks to shoot em off the ranch. Their burrows are hell on bovine legs, so most land owners who run livestock are happy to be rid of them.
No room in my pack ha ha! But I'm not a lope hunter, I am lucky enough to have my health, and I live less than an hour from most of my spots. Driving around howling for wolves, I may throw a can in the bed thanks to this post.
I have a 300 mag and love it. That being said, it is totally unnecessary for my style of hunting. I don't think a magnum is necessary in general, just makes me feel tougher than I am.
I bought three cheap power banks at walmart for 8 bucks each. I get about a charge and a half out of each one. They work just fine, hold a charge well, charge phones quickly. They're a little heavy and have to be kept in a water-tight container, but they work for me.
Awesome stuff! I've wanted to go on a goat hunt here in MT ever since I camped at Ferry Lake. Looks like beautiful country and you seem to have the locating down. Should be a great hunt. Keep us posted please!
I would invest in all new gear (mine ways a ton) and get stocked up on food and supplies. Given the cost of that stuff, that'll probably take care of all 20k.
Ha ha that doesn't take much. I just think the outrage is confusing.
We had a statue here in town that was erected by the Wives of the Confederacy. They tore it down and put up the equity ball or something in its place. Huge outrage from the community.
