Best rewards credit card for hunters?

I'm an advocate for the elderly. We've seen thousands and thousands of fraudulent cc charges on their accounts. We get it all back in those cases. Debit card, no guarantee. Cash, no chance

Best rewards credit card for hunters?

Not sure if its been mentioned, but credit cards are protected by the Fair Credit Billing Act as well as the Electronic Funds Transfer Act. They are the safest way to shop, hands down. Liable for $50 only. Debit cards are protected, but there is a very short time limit on when you report fraud.

    Snake Hunt

Touchy subject. Everyone has opinions about which snakes are ok to kill and which are not.

    Squirrel Fever!

I find squirrels around slash piles and near recent logging activity. They seem to like the piled up stuff.

Hunters with ATVs cause thousands of dollars of damage to alpine tundra trail

I see this crap way too often in Montana. People drive right over the signs marking the trail as non-motorized.

I feel lower than a bowlegged caterpillar

Thanks for the info everyone. I'll get back after it this weekend, with a partner.

I feel lower than a bowlegged caterpillar

I think I'd be equally bummed about a dove honestly. It's more about what I owed to the animal I think. Lessons learned though. If the roadrunner couldn't do it with all his gadgets, I think I'll stick to partridge and grouse.

I feel lower than a bowlegged caterpillar

Oh, I should've read that better. That's ok, everybody has their list of kill and don't kill. I am excited to eat him and I will try my hand at tanning the skin, if that's any consolation to you.

I feel lower than a bowlegged caterpillar

It looked like it was stone dead when it dropped so I didnt even really think about it running off. I definitely learned a lot from the experience. I won't shoot at birds I don't have time to find for one.

I feel lower than a bowlegged caterpillar

Got my first Hungarian Partridge today....but I couldn't recover him. I got excited after the shot and instead of keeping my eye on where he fell and dropping my pack to mark where I shot from, I lost my head, took my eye off of where it fell, and then stumbled through knee high grass for a...

    Tell Me About Game Bags

My ignorance is showing, but what happens if you get fly eggs on the meat? Do they die when frozen/cooked, or is it pretty much a death sentwnce foe the meat?

    Tell Me About Game Bags

I used the cheap ones last year. Washed them and re-rolled them and they are as good as new. I don't travel to hunt so my meat is only in them for a couple days tops. I'm sure I'll find reason to upgrade eventually, but the cheapos from Wally World have worked so far.

    You guys seen this?

I was just wondering why they still needed a pack horse? You'd think a guy's entire circle of friends could get it packed out.

Post your Hobbys (other then hunting) just for fun

Thank you! Its actually ramen. My wife makes a 48hr bone broth and I make the noodles and the fixins. The halibut was from a friend who fishes in alaska every year and the steak was from the farm. I actually just did my first leg of lamb. Sous vide for a little too long, but it was still...

    elk hunting in montana

I think there are a couple b tags that are good for 2 or 3 units. 389 and 393 I think.

Power cell to charge cell phone

I don't think the average hunt talker is as broke as me, but I get the 8 dollar ones from the checkout counter at Wal-Mart. I've yet to have to use them when its really cold, but they seem to work just fine. I get two phone charges per backup. In airplane mode without onx tracker on, that'll...

    Duck Decoys

Wow! That's crazy. Last year, I was looking and found some great deals. If I find any this year, I'll let you know.

    Duck Decoys

As soon as duck season starts, people start dumping their old decoys. Check out craigslist and I bet you can find a ton that might just need some paint touched up.
