    Have people lost common sense

"Common since the the collection of prejudices aquired before the age of 18" Einstein What is common to you isn't common to everyone. Folks who have never had a bad experience with dogs interacting probably assume all dogs are like theirs. People that don't hunt don't understand that your dog...

Are basic trail cameras legal in Montana during hunting season?

Also no blind construction on public land before August. Has to be removeable, no screws or fasteners, cannot impede the growth of trees. I've found the folks down at fwp to be very helpful and friendly.

    Sunday Pic of the Day

Saw this gal on a little walkabout Sunday. She had her fawn with her and was not real pleased to see me. She stamped and barked at me and didn't take her eyes off me until I was out of sight. Fun to see them so close.

    SE montana

Antlers make poor soup. Hunting is about experience. Its about the prople you're with and the places you get to see. Go, have fun, shoot a forkey or a spike or a doe or a giant. They will all taste delicious. Hunting isn't about the validation you feel after posting a grip and grin, its about...

Man Appears to of Died After Bear Attack in Hope, AK

Was he using a chain saw to clear the trail? You'd think the sound would've scared that bear off well before any contact.

    Montana elk general

I got upset in the past when I saw members on here crapping on folks for asking questions. I'm really starting to understand how annoying and disingenuous these posts can come off as. My advice would be to share some things about yourself. Ask about general tactics, not specific units. Get some...

    Solo hunting advice

Man, I learned a lot here. Mainly that my gear sucks and my pack is usually twice the weight of the guy passing me on the trail in! I've only packed out one animal solo, a mule buck, bone in, that I shot 3.5 miles back (two trips). It was harder than I thought it would be, even though it was...
