White Sulphur Springs elk hunting
You'd be better off camping at a trailhead or campground in one of those areas and hiking in when you start out. Most folks from out east are in for a huge wake up call thinking they're gonna hike in 3-4 miles and camp, especially if we get hit with an opening weekend snow storm like 2020 etc... -
In search of Bullet moulds (conicals)
I've been on the lookout for moulds for the TC maxi-hunter conical, but they appear to be very hard to come by. Anybody come across these on the various gun or muzzleloader websites. I've seen them on the web but out of stock.- MT Bound

I've just had 2 kids finish college, wllm's table is pretty accurate more or less, but as been said, there are alot of variables. Montana Muzzleloader seasons 2021
Round ball and patch would be my last choice, I've had a few years doing this in the eastern U.S. Use either the pre-lubed Buffalo bullets or T/C maxi balls. You have to play with these weapons a while and see what works best, what the best load/bullett combination works best for your muzzy...- MT Bound

Wearing Contacts in the Backcountry?
I use daily disposables and bring extras. just get your fingers as clean as possible when putting them in. if temps are well below freezing, make sure you keep in your pocket or somewhere warm so their not frozen when you wake up in morning.- MT Bound
