Commercial herds are calving. Most of us folks with registered herds are wrapped up. It’s a bit unfortunate so many ranchers view elk and deer herds as God’s gift to them for working so much harder than everyone else. My grandfather would cuff men like Wylie and Hinebauch about the head for...
I just tested positive for COVID so I won’t be making it to the hearing. I’d like to show up and my only comment just be a declaration of my condition and watch the maskless braggarts cringe.
I’d say as a lifelong FWP employee he’s used to people being pissed at him. Also doesn’t serve at their pleasure. I’d say the best argument to FWP about this is asking them how their support is based in science. Although that ship seems to have already sailed.
Albus and others have said it many times but it bears repeating; Republicans won’t always control the governor’s house or even the legislature. When they no longer do “you reap what you sow” shouldn’t be far from their minds in regards to this session.

I have no doubt that conversation was had and many others like it around the state. Qualification for game damage assistance is entirely predicated on allowing public access for hunting. I have no issues with that. Landowners who don’t qualify for public $$$ for game damage are just receiving it...
I second and third Starlink. One month into the Beta and the speeds are awesome and we've had little to no downtime. A little more expensive for startup but absolutely worth it. Obstructions can be a pain but all satellite is that way. The app shows you the best place for the dish. Elon Musk is...
As Montanans we regularly moan about the NR moving here. I used to think they were making the state more liberal but we forgot to account for all of the conservatives moving here to escape their own liberal states. I think the days of Montana being a purple state are gone.
Was told by the head of security a few years ago they counted 900 bull elk on the Flying D after doing surveys. They regularly make over $100,000 per year just on shed antlers. And that’s just one ranch they lease.
