    Heard from an outfitter that there were over 30,000 apps for 17,000 NR Big Game combos. Not sure where he got that info or how he got it so soon. Only 20% of his clients drew. If these numbers are accurate be prepared for outfitter-sponsored licenses to be brought up again.

    You do not have to hold a general license to apply for B tags. Just the prerequisite conservation, base hunting etc. Preference points are for the combination (big game, elk & deer combos) and bonus points are for permits and B tags (for deer and elk anyway). Not sure what gohunt is referencing...

    The BM program and it’s implementation on a property is almost entirely controlled by the landowner. Except for payments which is controlled by the legislature which, when it comes to F&G, is controlled by MOGA. Muck FOGA for sure. MOGA doesn’t want to raise the BM cap. We’ve seen how they feel...

    UPOM bill requiring crop damage payments in districts with limited permits

    I’m opposed to them robbing the WMA budget just to turn around and claim FWP can’t acquire any property because they don’t take care of what they do have. Might be a secondary goal of this bill.

    He sounded like a child who lost his favorite toy. He can’t take no for an answer because he’s the smartest guy in the room and doesn’t understand how no one else can figure that out. I’d vote for my dog before Ellsworth. Can’t write bad bills without thumbs.
