Is social media hurting the great outdoors experience?

take a look at some of the instagram pictures posted by females. You might see some that dont look like "hoes" This is exactly the reason some of us females refuse to post pictures on social media. I agree with both these responses. __________ ___________ I believe social media can be a...

I Wish Them Well, Wolves verus Elk Hoof Rot Disease

Dont confuse, not getting it, with not agreeing with you. Several of the men on the forum, have both experience and knowledge, of the issues being discussed, as do these two females.

the bumper stickers for my truck that express my love for cowboys dont have the same effect up here :ROFLMAO: But, as per the post made by BearFoot, it is not all bad up here ;) But I do miss Texas

    now considered useless traits

I have to give credit to my grandparents for my knowledge and understanding of many things and not the least of these, being taught how to turn off the electronics and spend time with family . Besides cards, I also play dominos with them and put jig saw puzzles together with my great aunt. My...

    now considered useless traits

I am a "Z" and my generation still respond to absurdity and/or arrogance with "dont be a Hillary" The "Boomers" in my family are not too bad but the "silent" in my family, will not even try. April and my grandfather are part of the 'Silent" generation, but that label just dont fit them ;)...

    Life and ugly guns

April makes a good point about how different generations react to wood/plastic My grandfather is like April, wood only. My dad likes both but probably prefers wood. And I am definitely either/or. If I am spending my grandfather or fathers money, I would be more inclined to consider wood. But...

    I upset a feminist

I think it was just a reaction on my part and was not thinking "I want to physically hurt her" . A funny follow up is when I got home my grandmother and mother were all about turning the other cheek, walking away, being the better person, but when I got to the barn, the only thing my father...

    I upset a feminist

And more so for young women than men of any age. Older folks like April and my grandparents dismiss them with quotes like " they are one sandwich short of a picnic", but being a young female who is just recently out of college, they have an agenda and they get very upset at females who dont...

    I upset a feminist

I thought of this thread yesterday when my father ask me to go to the shop and get two males and one female We were working on an electrical project. Is our family still using the wrong terminology ? And speaking of females, especially on a hunting forum. I love the pictures of the 10 to 14...

Has Anyone Here Been to The Annual Buffalo Roundup in SD?

YES. Your family will enjoy it ! A few years ago April helped me apply to be one of the drovers ( they hire 20 outside drovers each year ) I didn't make the cut, but still loved the festivities. Besides the round up, the other activities are also enjoyable. Good band, great food, and I...

How important is it to you to own a Handgun?/ Tangent CAR THREAD

You are correct April. In Texas even less restrictive laws begin Sept st. I personally have some concern about the no training part. As to the muscle cars, I own a truck, so will let you and Muley hash that out ;)

How important is it to you to own a Handgun?/ Tangent CAR THREAD

I was asked and thought I would answer here and pm The "CMA" shooting from a running horse and the " CFDA" fast draw competition --are two different clubs, although some belong and compete in both. I enjoy both but from a horse you are able to also compete with a lever action rifle which is...

How important is it to you to own a Handgun?/ Tangent CAR THREAD

My grandfather has several, my father has several, my brother has several and I have two. I got a quickdraw revolver and holster for the 18th birthday and always take one when hunting , fishing, camping. I agree. However in my mind, I like them and feel safer when I have one.

    AITA (Am i the @$$hole)?

Exactly, which was one of the points I tried to make in my post . Living in a large city ( New York, L.A., Chicago, etc ) in America would be hard for me, but everyday would be like a picnic on the beach compared to living in several middle east countries, china, india, Venezuela and closer to...

    AITA (Am i the @$$hole)?

I agree with the two married females above. I can only hope that I find a man like you when I am ready to get married. And I will guarantee you that my mother would also be happy for me, even if I didn't live in the same state. My marriage would be more important to her than her living next...

    Another Which Cartridge Poll

I am surprised Panda didn't elaborate as she has experience with a multitude of 7's. 7mm, 7-08, 7x57, 7wsm, 275 H & H My answer to you sir, is either/or. I am in the same weight class, and have no problem with the 7mm and if this rifle is a 'forever" rifle, it will give them a bit more on...
