I had my family in Cody area last year and really enjoyed it. We did a rafting trip on the Shoshone right out of Cody. The Outlaw Trail's N/E of Cody at Newton Lakes was a decent hike with some nice views. Not far from town if you don't want to venture far.
And just to add a visual to what I’m talking about. When I go to the range, with gun cleaned or not, this is where the gun groups. Upon making my adjustment, it hits center of target as seen in the lower left target. Everytime I’ve left the range, I had it zeroed in the bullseye.
Thanks for the tips. I do have the Talley vertical rings on it. I just removed the scope from the gun and noticed there is a circular indentation on the scope tube from one of the mounting holes. I thought they were no lap rings but there’s apparently an uneven spot. I did shoot the gun without...

I have a Browning Hells Canyon 300 mag that is topped with a Zeiss Conquest V4 4-16x44. It was mounted using the weaver leveling system and rings...
My middle son (8yoa) insists on tagging along with me on as many hunts as he can. We finally connected on an old IL public land buck after many hunts together. He can’t wait to get a few years older so he can do the shooting himself!
I’ve gotta say…about 20 years ago I didn’t go to a friends wedding because I didn’t want to miss a 3 day muzzleloader season…..I regret not going to the wedding and I was even single at the time. The hunt was not as important as I thought it was at the time. Go to the wedding.
I believe the outback lodge is rated as a 3 season tent. I looked at that one previously and it is a single wall tent but seems to have decent reviews. I have no personal knowledge or experience with that tent. One budget tent that surprised the sh*# out of me last year was a buddy’s Ozark Trail...
