We are well beyond 15-20% higher than some in our area, at least in labor/overhead/profit. And yet I can't keep our backlog down. We have a lot of folks in our area that have moved in from out of state, and they are quite happy to spend money with someone who at least tries to communicate.

The fixing isn't the hard part, it's knowing how to make money at it that is challenging!
For me, personally, it's bordering on unethical, as the thread is searchable, and the other hunters in any given unit had no say.
For others, I don't necessarily use the term unethical, but I believe it's certainly unwise.
I have these 3. In some ways I hate reading them, because it can be depressing, but occasionally I just feel like reading one again. I feel he, more than any author I know, writes with brutal honesty about consequences for choices.
And yeah, he's the master of vivid word pictures.
