So, to clarify. Montana ranchers want to save the cowboy, unless a city billionaire shows up, then they cash the check. Too much consolidation in meat production is bad, unless Walmart has a sale. Somehow Mormons got drug into this Hunters are conservationists, as long as they get a tag...- hossblur

Who is "they", or the "billionaires", in "billionaires get what they want"? That's what I can't seem to understand. Is their some conspiracy? Or is it what it is on face value, just locking up land from development?- hossblur

I love on the Wasatch front. As a kid, my nearest neighbor was 3/4 miles away. No stop light. Grocery was 3 towns away. I'm 48 Today my town has 30k people. I like the idea of open range. I've read about the hunting aspect being shaky. But I e read those things about Nature conservancy...- hossblur

They just don't build beautiful hunting guns like they used to.
My son got to pick his rifle for his 16th. He picked an xbolt Medallion .300 win It's a really pretty gun imo. Too pretty for a flatbrimmer, I was impressed that he was into pretty wood stocks. -

I don't begrudge AOC or MTG types.. They simply ridded themselves of self awareness, original thought, common sense, and exploited the system we have. On judges though. My son to play high school football, had to take cognitive tests to create a baseline for judging concussion symptoms... -

I disagree totally. The barrier to entry is so high, it's near impossible to enter. That barrier was created by the generation in power. Hard to compete with folks like Pelossi who've spent decades exchanging "favors". I'm not wild about lifetime appointments either. But, at minimum, there... -
