Whitetail - Thoughts on Score?
Very nice deer but one of those because of the extra points (deducts) would net close to 120 in my opinion. I have some deer that don’t score as well as some others I have but side by side I’d shoot the lower scoring one every time. -

Weirdest Western Town?
Ingomar, MT. Lots of history in this town but still a bit on the kooky side, stopped for lunch at the Jersey Lilly (beans are highly overrated), but the one patron kept me entertained for 30 minutes ranting about the worthless evil Government. How small a buck would you shoulder mount?
i have a lot of mounts and still enjoy them but I'm starting to wonder as we can't live forever, what the heck is going to happen to all these when I'm gone or close to gone? My son would probably take a few but he has his own and so what's gonna happen to them? Anyone have any suggestions or...- u1299

I wouldn't mount it personally but it's really not up to me, everyone is different and I would never question why anyone would mount a particular animal. Sorry, it's your choice.- u1299

What's up with game departments requiring a bear tag be bought x days before hunt?
Because I think it will keep some people who go out and have no intention of shooting a bear from either shooting one then running to town to buy a tag. I know the argument that they could do the same with deer yet there is no law prohibiting them from purchasing a tag after the fact, however I...- u1299

I think it's a good law and pretty damn simple to comply with, just read the regulations and if you can't comply with the law you probably shouldn't be hunting bears anyway.- u1299
