    I was looking at the Nokian Outpost AT as a cheaper option to the toyo. The tire shop I called wasn't able to find the size I wanted in stock. Up until recently 80% of their production was also in Russia and I didn't want russian tires. Supposedly they're opening a plant in TN.

    I just got my second set of Toyo AT3's. They've been a pretty good all around tire for me. I had 2 sets of Kelly Safari TSR prior to that and while I liked those too I "think" the toyos kept doing better on snow/ice after a few years of wear than the Kelly's. They're also quieter.

    I have the 8x42 HDb 3000. My only complaint is they are bulky. They are about the size of my 15x56 SLC Optically I think they are a bit better than the 10x42 SLC NEU they replaced. I don't think they are quite as good as the newer 15x56 SCL. Overall I am super happy with them I snagged them...
