Hunting the RR tracks?
As someone that works for a railroad, all I can say is please please please stay off the tracks. I know we use to have a really good fishing spot that was on the other side of a BNSF main line and it was stop, look, listen and cross straight across. Any marks on the bullet once removed? Could always black out with a sharpie and see what rubs off to find your contact point. -

How is your case length? Could it be getting caught in the lip of the case going into the throat? Or maybe slightly thick case. Do you full length size? Or short size? Maybe a Slight bulge at the base? How many times was the brass fried? Could be lots if things... -

Little update... well the rain did move in over night as was predicted but brought with it 40-60mph winds. We slept in the truck at the trail head, it was kind of a wild ride. Woke up and recheck to see if they had left the area due to the storm... nope they were still there just maybe 100yds up... -

Well hopefully they stay put, it’s suppose to start raining after midnight but they should be use to that lol it blew us off the mountain Saturday, tacoed our tent with us in it and all... the anticipation is the hardest part I think... sitting here freezing in the truck just waiting for sun up... 😬 -
