    Dealing with TSA after Alaska

    Dealing with TSA after Alaska

The reason I asked was I see people stuff everything they can into the gun case to keep from paying for another checked bag . I'm just the opposite , I just put the gun and a few other thing , mags , bipods . I try to keep it as simple as I can , knowing the people I'll be dealing with are not...

    Dealing with TSA after Alaska

OK , no reason to get snarky about it . I plan on the stupidest thing possible to happen and take steps to prevent them . It was most likely an honest mistake on their part , but if it had been on your person it would've never had happened . Live and learn , or not , your call .

No kids for me , the wife has two and two GK's but they're 1200 miles away now . Even still , I've never been one to live vicariously through my stepkids or grandkids . Never understood that . OK , I'll revise it to spend the summer in Ak and winter south .

    Would you do this ....

Yeah , I'm probably fooling myself about the winter there , I'd head south most likely , why be mobile and suffer the cold , you are right .

    Would you do this ....

We've done it twice , got rid of everything . You'd be surprised at how fast it re-accumulates . But think about it , most stuff gets replaced in a couple years anyway , weed trimmers , lawnmowers , it's all disposable . TV's and stuff are cheap . Tools were what I missed . Floor jacks and...

Our last 5th wheel was supposed to be winter proof , but yes you are right , there's a point where it's not feasible .

All kinds of things come into play , like what to do with your stuff .Last time I gave most of it away , furniture , garage stuff , and so much stuff you never think about . For me it was old racing and fishing trophy's that hurt to get rid of , but other than that it was just stuff and out it...
