Tag application budget ?
~$550/yr for points. This covers 24 different point categories across 6 states. Actual applications inflates this a bit, but refunded if not drawn. Depending on state sometimes a few hundred $$ are lost into the abyss- Edwin

I would consider going for 1 at a time. Apply separate that way you can hunt LE in Utah twice in a few years. And be able to put forth as much effort as you can getting a trophy for each of you. Book cliffs or vernon would be fun. And looks like you could have either. Good luck -

yes 11,000 is correct. which would equate to 1 in 2.7 sq miles assuming 100% success rate -

Region 7 is 29,799 square miles. 8,500 B tags would equate to the taking of 1 deer out of every 3.5 sq miles. Take it for what it is, good bad or otherwise. I could see this being of concern with areas with high percentages of public land. -
