If you don't mind me asking, why are you still calling them? You never drew a combo. You weren't in the 1st permit draw, you weren't in the 2nd permit draw, and you won't be in a 3rd if there is one. Join the club. Better luck next year but don't hold your breath- Edwin

If this is what is showing up and you have no successful draws you did not draw. Just talked to FWP this just highlights your choices if you were to draw and not draw permits. For those that are curious. The gentleman I talked to said it took 2.2 PP to be 100% for NR Big Game Combo.- Edwin

Not complaining about not drawing. Just tired of my permit applications getting thrown in the trash and donating hundreds of dollars for it. From here it looks like the only way a NR can dump their bonus points is to hire an outfitter or just leave them on the table- Edwin

I have no combo according to my items held. But points category says I retained a deer combo. My guess is they are dealing with some issues and this will be a moving target for a bit. Hence why no bonus point or permit results have been officially updated on our accounts- Edwin

Remove permits from the general allocation and have them completely separate. That permit is your tag to hunt there. You either apply for general or you apply for the permit. That would resemble wyoming. You draw general, you lose your points. You draw permit, you lose your points. The current...- Edwin

Any NR with a significant amount of bonus points should be worried. The permit you want is probably out of reach in your lifetime until the 10% quota actually becomes 10% for NRs and you are actually allowed to be a part of that draw every year. Elk Permit NR Quota Successful 100 2 2...- Edwin

Yeah idk. People will pay it. They will get $200 from those going with an outfit, as they will be allowed to buy 2 to skip to the front of the line. Add in the part where the odds of drawing deer were better with 0pt than they were with 1pt in 2021. NR combo will be about a 1 in 3 year thing...- Edwin

Building preference points only helps you get the combo tag and you can only hold up to 3. It is frustrating having to acquire a combo just to be eligible for LQ permit draw. But that's the way it is. But that just means you pretty much have to apply for LQ the years you can draw the combo...- Edwin

Apply for big game combo and your desired elk permit. If you don't draw the permit you can retain the deer combo and return the elk portion of the combo for 80% refund. You will lose your PP but you will have a 4th bonus point for elk and a deer tag.- Edwin
