140gn ABs shoot very well in my 7-08, but 139gn Hornady Interbonds are gooder. I've always been impressed with Accubonds until I try Interbonds in the same rifle. I always seem to be able to push them faster without accuracy dropping off. The problem is finding either of them these days.
I didn't realize this was a zombie thread at first. I read the first post and was thinking, "where on earth did he find 140gn Accubonds and 150gn Sciroccos?". Then I saw the date. 😀
Not to hijack the thread, but how is RCBS customer service?
I called them yesterday about my Charge master Link that won't turn on and was told it's probably just the cord. The tech said she'd send me another cord and would email me a tracking number. I haven't gotten an email yet.
I bought a Charge master Link back in September, been impressed with it so far, but it quit working literally today. It just won't turn on. I'm going call RCBS on Monday, but this is pretty annoying.
No spread sheet, but I have 5 elk, 5 antelope, 2 black bears, and whitetail/mule deer deer combined - I don't know, 50 or thereabout in the past 30 years.
Well, there sure seems to be something to this. I shot this group this morning: 284 Win, 49gn of VV N150, 139gn Hornady Interlock BTSP. The group measured .4". MVs from a 5-shot string wheree an average of 2916 with an extreme spread of 8 and SD of 3.
Definitely worth some follow-up.
