    I always feel fine carrying a .45 1911. Most of the guys I know do carry higher capacity 9's though. I would just carry whatever you are comfortable with. This debate has been going on for ages.

    I would try to scout and maybe hunt fields and ponds where you know they are at. Also, don't be shy about asking to hunt private.     No, I agree. I just have to plan my work vacations a year in advance. So I would have to plan those weeks off in december for the chance I do get a tag the following fall. Also helps that the ND rifle weeks are roughly the same as in MN so I am hunting either way.

    Man I feel you. I did end up just quitting cold turkey. My throat and lip just couldnt bare it anymore. Cold turkey was horrendous for about a month. Really hope it works out for you!
