I've used wraps for a long time. I got the wraps for free by contacting a local sign shop. They gave me a stack of vinyl scraps that I've been using for almost 15 years and I still have a lot left.
I like wraps because they help me see where my shot goes and it makes fletching easier.
I got a deer point (that's all I applied for) but didn't get any e-mails. The credit card info they had was up to date, but no charge, so I logged in and it said I owed $40. I paid the $40. The point shows up in my account. I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to work but I got the point...
For baiting black bears in the upper midwest, Ken Nordberg's book and the book and video by Bernie Barringer are IMO the best along with Richard P. Smith's book.
Nordberg and Barringer are both from MN.

Since you plan to bow hunt, I believe all units in WY are open throughout most or all of Sept. Keep in mind that bow season closes when the rifle season begins in each unit so be sure to find out what those dates are.
Go to p. 17 at the link below for some archery info...
I think this is from 2017 but start going through this list and figure out what units fit your dates, then check a map and draw odds.

Since you want to hunt after the training, I recommend not hunting CO for pronghorn but instead go to WY. You have until May 31 to submit your applications which will give you plenty of time to figure out where you can hunt in WY with decent access and 0 points. Pay attention to when the...
Nonresidents can't shoot a buck antelope with a rifle in NE. You could shoot a doe with a rifle.
The antelope and gun deer seasons in NE don't overlap.
You should look at WY for a combo deer/antelope hunt.
It's my understanding that the 2200 has a smaller reticle.
I just bought the 2200 to replace my Bushnell 1300. Haven't had a chance to use it yet.
Cabela's has the 2200 in O2 Octane on sale right now for $399. Go to a website like Raise.com and buy $400 worth of Cabela's cards at about an...
There's not much you can do. You could do nothing, you could blow back at the deer, or maybe give a grunt or doe bleat. And then hope there aren't any other deer within ear shot of where the doe blew.
There are a lot better units in eastern WY than 17, 19, 22, and 24 for 0 or 1 point. You can pretty much buy tags in those units you listed as left overs and there is a reason for that - there's not much public access and/or the accessible areas are not good antelope habitat. You can kill an...
I was in eastern WY last week for a DIY hunt on public land and walk in areas. I found this buck in a walk in area. After a short stalk, he came out of a depression, and I shot him. None of my previous antelope hunts have been this easy, but it sure is nice when a plan comes together.
Hunting Big Mule Deer: How to Take the Best Buck of Your Life by Robby Denning is a good book.
David Long's Public Land Mulies and the Eastman books are good too.
