I always bring a backup and I like consistency. Both rifles are Remington 700 7 mm with same stock, same scope, and both shoot the same ammo equally well.

WI just needs to raise NR license fees a good amount across the board and leave it at that.
A NR deer license is $160. IMO it should be $250 or more. The guy from IL that has land and a cabin in WI might complain about a $90+ increase but he will still go there to hunt.

Pedestal mounts do take up some room as opposed to a wall mount, but if that's what you want, then do it.
Since a floor pedestal mount is a vertical presentation, IMO an upright form with a right or left turn looks best.
