If you want to really learn about optics go over on some of the birding forums. They have forgotten more than most hunters know about optics. Hunters are easily influenced by branding and influencers. Most hunters could not actually judge optics and simply look at the name not realizing that...
Great choice on states.
Another good reason to move to Colorado, not having to wait a year.
Keep in mind the Wyoming preference point system has a lot in common with a ponzi scheme.
Nebraska elk are quite funny. When I lived in Chadron my neighbor had a cow elk that stayed with his cows year round. Acted domestic.
There was also a high fence elk spot south of Chardon and the wild elk would sit on the fence line outside the pen.
IF you go during rifle season you...
The NR DIY hunter is going to continue to get the short end of the stick, and the preference point system is going to be nothing more than a glorified Ponzi scheme for them. If I was a NR hunter I'd be dumping points ASAP as they are going to become worthless as only a small % of tags will go...
Me too. lol.
I think a solar charger would work best for that situation but I am sure you have a good idea what would fit your needs. The truck in the article amazed me with the hydraulic dump bed, features of regular street legal vehicle, and price. But it did not appear to be as off...
I was shocked reading that story about this guy who bought a little electric truck to use in a similar situation to yours. Sounds pretty sweet and the price is right.
BTW, I am the guy who sold you the Polaris ranger about 10-12 years ago when the wind was blowing about 100 in Amarillo where...
My opinion is that reading you post there is a lot of psychology at work based on your reluctance to accept change and political paranoia. Fear of the future in simple term.
You are free to your opinion, but I can tell you EV's are the future, as is green hydrogen. Its' coming whether we...
It's going to piss off the diesel guys when the EV pickups are faster. Same with the sports car guys. An electric honda civic will probably be faster than most ICE sports cars built in the last 50 years.
It's a free country so everyone gets to choose. If you prefer to use a newer ICE pickup for all your driving go for it.
A lot of people have 2 vehicles so having one that is an EV will likely be popular.
For me I am keeping my 3/4 ton diesel for road trips, bad weather, and hauling trailers...
It's funny how people look at this. The EV's are well suited for going to work, dropping kids at school, going to grocery store, etc.. Most people will charge at home, not at public chargers. Most people do not drive 250+ miles per day so the capacity would not apply to most situations. But...
I'd like to drive one. FWD will likely work pretty well in most situation, certainly better than just RWD. I know FWD cars do quite well in the snow and ice.
These are interesting situations in my mind because we as a society need to be able to enforce laws, but we area also at a point where in many cases if you steal, speed or break traffic laws, , cut off catalytic converters, etc and just run nobody is going to pursue you for the reasons stated in...
