I seem to remember someone telling me that caffeine and nicotine effect a person's accuracy. I have a hard time starting my day without a cup of coffee, but for health reasons I limit myself to the occasional cup of coffee. I've noticed I'm feeling better on a daily basis.
Voted 7mm-08, I own a Ruger M77 MKII stainless and just love shooting it. My other rifle is a Ruger M77 MKII .280 Rem. stainless. If I had to pick up another rifle I would probably look for something in a lever action 45-70 or .308.
Good luck on your father son hunt. Washington is a difficult state to hunt, mostly because there is limited public land to hunt, mostly private. I'm not saying there isn't good hunting there, just difficult. You are probably spot on picking up the Warehouser pass, that is if you can draw one...
I thought I might share this as of current. I think this could be good news for all of us. It is a first step in the direction of opening things back up. I know that this is still a restriction, but I think with time and patience things will get back to normal shortly.
It might be nice to see an around the campfire type of episode. Stories of memorable hunts, how to plan what gear to take and just about anything you can think of that goes on around the campfire. I think some good stories would come up.
