Long-range muzzleloaders. The phrase "Send it!" People who say "Send it!" When people walk in their shots at animals making adjustments from their misses when shooting beyond their limits. Goose jerky
Just finished making a batch with duck, but did some goose last season. I just use a jerky mix (seasoning and cure). Mix by weight with thin sliced meat and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 24 hrs. Then into the smoker - roll smoke on it at about 195 degrees for maybe 40-60 mins, then...- bowhuntmontana

Things are mostly iced up around here, so I took the bike, kayak, trailer, and other filthy items to the car wash and sprayed off a few pounds of mud. Might try to jump shoot a few small creeks that stay open during the remaining weeks of the season. Smoking up some duck jerky right now. Already...- bowhuntmontana

I admire what he has done. I read "Super Slam" a few years ago and I think it gives some insight into his psyche and mentality. He is laser-focused and clearly has some amazing skills. Got out Friday evening for a very quick hunt. It was warm, like mid 50's, and nothing was flying. Had the kayak out again so I snuck down a side slough and jumped a redhead drake and a hen shoveler together. They came home with me. Got out Saturday, also very warm and calm.
