    2022 Sask whitetail adventures

Good luck! Hope a good one makes an appearance. Your brother's debacle over whether or not to go after that buck is akin to a hunting version of first world problems.

I love kestrels. So cool to watch them. Kind of a crappy pic, but it was cool to watch this guy pull off the fur and enjoy his meal. Exhibit A for eating small rodents.

They taste excellent to me. Much like a green-wing. I'll grill the skinless breast with a little olive oil and seasoning just like backstrap. Medium rare.

Surprised there are still quite a few of these around. They get prettier by the day.

Those elk are being real jerks. Eat all the bait. Mess with your cameras. Not cool, elk. Not cool. Also, I'd shoot that buck.

Just spent the last hour reading all of this. Absolutely fascinating! Subscribed. I got interested in birding a few years ago and raptors quickly became my favorite. Been lucky enough to have a pair of Coopers Hawks nest in the neighbor's backyard for three seasons. Amazing to observe them. Cool...

    Attn: Waterfowl fanatics!

Didn't make it out this morning, but was able to get out for the afternoon. Went back to a spot I hadn't hunted in two years. We had weather mid-week and another front pushing in tonight, which brought in a lot of birds and they were really moving. Can't say my shooting was the best, but the...

Lightest Bestest Tripod For Sitting w/12x Binos Only

On the extreme end of ultralight, the Kramer Designs Granite Peak tripod is an option. I got one a few weeks ago and will be giving it a try. Mine is 42 inches, and with the bino attachment, it is 9 ounces. Head is totally functional for me with binos and it is surprisingly stable. Right now, I...

Correct. From Montana, moved to Utah about 9 years ago, a few years after joining this forum. Both places have plenty of ducks.
