    Colorado Small Game Ammo Question

Was planning on taking the kids to see if we can find some rabbits and squirrels this weekend. I tried to find the answer to this question in the book and online but had no luck. Is there a restriction on how many rounds can be loaded in your rifle when small game hunting? Thanks for the help.

    Thermos or jetboil?

Same as already said. I take the Jetboil when cold with an instant coffee packet and some bottles of water. If I feel like having a cup of coffee I can, if not it’s not much weight to be carrying around all day.

Backpacking Sleeping Bags on a budget

I have no affiliation and no experience with these bags but I was doing a little research a couple months ago and came across the Hyke and Byke website. For the price I plan on giving one of their bags a try. They have options for both goose down and synthetic and offer 0 degree models, under...

    Mini 14 accuracy issue

Saw this on an auction website (it was up to $550 with 5 days to go 😬) and it made me think of this thread. Everyone wanted to make their mini accurate for some reason. 🤷‍♂️

    Family Yellowstone Camping Suggestions?

Thank you for all the replies, they helped. The deciding factors ended up being the size of our trailer and available dates. Ended up taking the last spot at the Yellowstone West KOA, the second week of August. I might solicit suggestions for good things to do while we are there as it gets...

    Family Yellowstone Camping Suggestions?

Thanks for the suggestions- I might push our dates back a bit for a little better weather and look for a campground just outside the park due to our size. All good advice. I'm having trouble looking up this campground, is that the name of it?

    Family Yellowstone Camping Suggestions?

Looking to do a first-time Yellowstone trip this year with the family (wife and 3 kids under 13) either late May or early June. We’ll be towing the 33’ camper from the Denver area. Interested in seeing wildlife, hiking and maybe bringing the canoe for fishing. I would like the ability to make...

    Hunting Meme Thread

I bet nowadays once a grade schooler took out a filet knife out of their backpack for the demonstration, a call would be placed to the local SWAT team.

Maybe not the first I’d buy but it would be on the short list.

Going Soft - RV Advice Needed

I liked these two when I was looking. I would look for (barely) used- there’s should be a ton out there and you don’t have to pay the “new” premium. https://www.granddesignrv.com/showroom/2021/toy-hauler/momentum-g-class-travel-trailer/floorplans/21g...

Going Soft - RV Advice Needed

I did not hear that no RV is perfect before I bought mine but man is it a true statement. I too have been a tent camper my entire life but was encouraged by the wife to get a camper this year. I wanted a toy hauler but with Covid, RV lots here were empty and everything was on back order. We...

What's the best way to ship a rifle?

Over the years I've shipped rifles through all three- USPS, UPS and FedEx. I luckily have never experienced any real issues with any of them but if I was asked which one I prefer, I'd say UPS. The last time I shipped some rifles, I paid like $5 for UPS to pick them up from my home after they...

    What's on the smoker today?

About 225 degrees until they reach 165 or so. I’ve found that with dark meat, you can go over about 10 degrees and still be good.

    What's on the smoker today?

I’ve mentioned how much I like doing chicken legs. $5 for a dozen and a couple hours and you’re eatin’ good. I did the top half wrapped in bacon. Soooo good
