Public lands trash packout
In the spring when I'm out mushroom hunting I always carry a trash bag with me to carry out the trash that others have left behind. Makes me sad to have to do this but if I can leave the woods cleaner for my sons it's all worth it. Good on all of you all Buzz.- dcopas78

Rental Truck Experience
I've rented several trucks for hunting trips. That being said, I'm never comfortable taking one back some of the forest roads, etc with the tires they have on them. I had planned on taking my truck to Wyoming this year but I had it inspected a couple weeks ago just to make sure things were ok...- dcopas78

kids first gun
My dad bought my now 6 yo a Savage Rascal when he turned 5. It's a great little gun built for the frame of a kid. I made him get proficient with open sights before I put a scope on it. He's a dead shot at 20 yards with it and can hit a walnut at that distance every time. The squirrel are in... -

I've got a 28 Nosler, 300 WSM, and 300Win Mag. I need something better suited for antelope sized game and getting my young sons used to shooting a rifle when the time comes...appreciate suggestions from you guys when my ticket is drawn ;) -
Medicine Bow/Mullen Fire
Dad and I are due to leave next Saturday to start out for our unit 81 deer/unit 13 cow elk tags. Right across 230 from where the fire started. I wonder how much this will move the deer/elk around? Praying for the firefighters and those affected by the fires. -

I have a lot of hobbies, hunting and fishing just being my primary ones. I also like to woodwork, garden, work with livestock and about a gazillion other things. Dad and I had the same happen to us in NM. Luckily, we discovered we'd missed it and were able to get them before our first day of the hunt when I realized the mistake. Things definitely will and do happen.- dcopas78

I have went through them on both antelope trips to Wyoming, both times after having been checked in the field by a warden. He initialed and dated our tags and at the check stops, they just looked at the tag, saw his info and let us on through without checking our licenses, stamps, etc again... -

The last 20...
Spent some time today loading up the last 20 rounds of ammo for dad's gun, finished up mine earlier this week. We both have 50 rounds each ready to go to Wyoming. Hopefully, we only need two each...one for a buck and one for a cow elk.- dcopas78

HELP!!! Plumbing Issue, Main Water Supply Line
I'd use 2" HDPE, SDR 11 which I think you can get rated at 200 psi. It's way cheaper and you can get it in 500' spools. We used it to replumb the fairgrounds many years ago and haven't had a leak yet except for in transitions to meters. It is tapped in to a 8" c900 line that has 95 psi on it...- dcopas78

New Freezers are Like Gold
Luckily, being the son of a taxidermist who doesn't take as much business in as he used to, I can always use one of his freezers if I run short on space.
