No experience with hawke Lower end vortex scopes have horrible eye relief Leupold vx freedom 4-12x50 is what my wife has on here 7mm 08 Very clear and good eye relief probably perfect for a 25 06- CaptainChilders

New to CDs....
Ive had a few cds scopes for a year or two now and I just ordered a dial for my 300 win mag Tikka T3 (factory 180 ttsx). I have the vx 3i 4.5-14x50 1in mounted on it. I got this dial to hunt CA lead free and am going to get a dial for 180 factory accubonds for everywhere else. My question is...- CaptainChilders

Ruger Zytel 7mm mag
Have one in 06 Gun didn’t group with that pos Zytel abomination and the 19lb stock trigger Got a hogue off Amazon and a timney 300+ later it shoots great If I were to do it over again I would’ve just bought another tikka- CaptainChilders

Best all around caliber for the Tikka T3x Lite in Montana
I own t3 lites in 243, 7mm-08, 270, and 300win. Also shot a buddy’s 308 t3 lite. Obviously bullet weight and powder plays a huge effect on this but I haven’t felt much difference between the 270, 308, and 300 win. Tooth of the arrow 1in Born and Raised test rates them high up there Ive seen them shoot through the length of a whitetail and a mule deer Accuracy is the real wow factor with these heads They shoot 8ins higher then field points at 100yards- CaptainChilders

Is 22 FPS worth it?
New to the forum hello everybody! From what I can gather your only getting 199fps out of the diamond. 550 is extremely heavy for your set up.
