My wife has been using the Magnus Black Hornet cut-on-contact 2 blade heads. Has blown through everything with a 40 pound bow! I now shoot the same head but in four blade. They fly extremely well, as they are short/compact heads.
Wife and I will bowhunt deer/Javelina in our home state the first two weeks of January. The end of January I will be in MX for an archery Coues hunt. February-April will be chasing lions with a local Houndsman. Turkeys/bears in the spring here with a bow. My Wife will draw archery bull elk...
I’ve been at that point for many years……now I’m to the point where I don't want to watch folks on television with a bow casting arrows at muzzleloader ranges and call it Bowhunting. That’s shooting, not hunting, IMO. But that’s just me and who am I to say otherwise, I guess.
Just know that AZ G&F Commission just limited the NR OTC archery deer tags to only 2,890 tags sold……first come-first served beginning in December of 2022. So getting an OTC deer tag for a NR’s is no longer a guarantee.
