Kat... not sure why they consulted FWP... just know that at some point, someone approached FWP with the proposed fence details and FWP "passed off" on it. Very vague details... I'll see if I can dig up more.
BLM flew more than once. BLM was on the ground several times. Apparently, there are a couple spots where the cat tracks disturbed public ground, but not with the blade down. The fences, from what I've heard, are verified to be on private. The fences were cleared with MT FWP before they were...
Just curious. Ive read a few articles about the Forbes... every one is praising them on high... It appears you are pretty much getting a $3200 custom gun for $1399....
Just curious. I really want a lightweight mountain rifle...
Thanks
Keep after it!! Cant wait to see what you end up tagging! I've always wanted a tag for that unit. I know the adjacent unit in Idaho has some tanker bulls in it!!
Good luck!!!
No idea what the average is, since I've only done it once. I was not careful at all... I think if a guy was careful, he could do a whole one with maybe 3-4 blades. I mean...well... you could probably do it with one if you could be really careful. But knowing a good sharp blade was right there in...
I'll be trying Craig.
I bought a pair of Salomon running shoes and hate them... but I also bought the Quest 4d boots and they are treating me well. If its dry, I'll wear my shoes... if wet... I'll go boots.
As for the shoes... I have worn them all summer... and Becky wore two pair all spring and summer, including her 50K trail run in the Bighorns this year... they are great shoes...
Well... the rest of the weekend was pretty fun... trying to get in on some not so talkative bulls... sitting and calling hoping something would sneak in, but... nothing did! It was a great trip though. Lady Luck's last trip out of the hills Monday was a 77# pack of meat... with NO complaints!!!
As we walked up to him, a red fox scurried up the hill 40 yards away. I don’t know if he happened to just be right there to see that bull tip over or what? But I can imagine the luck he figured he’d run into!! Until we walked up… hehehe
