    Sciatica

    Get up early and stretch each morning. Do some walking or jogging and some Bodyweight stuff like pushups and squats and situps. Eat healthy, light and lean. I have a herniated disk on the bottom and several bulging. I've had shots, but what's helped me the most is dropping 25 lbs and keeping moving.

    Just depends. I just killed a bull that was hanging with cows. Elk in that particular area don't seem to mind.

    I like em. I have a superlite in 08 and an original T3 in 300 short I just picked up. I'm not a huge fan of the safety or closed action, those aside... have the 08 dialed in with 140 gn accubonds and biggame. That's a good buy...

    Disc pinched nerves

    I have bulging disks, small herniation on the bottom, bone spurs, arthritis, etc... I had a shot once. As of now what helps me best is eating healthy, staying active and flexible, working out, etc... if I sit long at all my right calf/foot becomes numb.

    If you are striving for weight savings and a more compact rifle (and ammo) for mountain hunting, a short action will help you get there. No, it's not much difference, but if a SA caliber suits your needs, they are a good option.

    I would load close to mag length on those and then load 1 at min charge and 1 ea moving up half grain increments to max charge. This will save you some supplies and hopefully to allow you to find an accuracy node quicker. Seems like a sweet spot for my 300 wsm is around a half to a grain below...

    Whats your favorite part of a hunt?

    Man, I like it all - from planning to putting meat up. But there's really nothing like getting into game when the season is on. Now that my kids are hunting, I really enjoying watching their reaction to it all.

    Found a 6x7 set of elk sheds over 11,000 feet once. It was a real bonus find, since I wasn't looking for sheds. I found another on in there the next year.
