I have 3 boys. The first I purchased a savage stevens 7mm-08. After I bedded it, it's still one of the most accurate rifle in our safe. My next two boys, I bought a ruger American and a savage 11 in 7mm-08. Both shoot fairly comparably, but I'm partial to the savage for fit and finish.
Cook the skull up to base of horns with borax/dish soap mix in a tub that allows the horns to drape over the sides. Cover if you can so it can steam. Refill as needed to keep the water up. After a day of simmering, take the skull into your garage and slam it down on the horn bases. Raise it...
Because there aren't enough antelope to justify an area wide season open through November. The hunt was created entirely to appease private landowners sustaining damages in a portion of 38 toward wheatland.
That's good to hear, but I haven't seen as many. One year we counted 14 fawns with does around our place. This year we've only seen a few. The herd in 38 is a shadow of what it used to be. Hopefully it's better in other areas.
I've tried to tell the g&f that the type 2 is a bad idea on the Laramie side, but so far they have kept the same regs. There are very few antelope on the Laramie side. Fawn recruitment is way down, again. Hunting antelope around here into November is a BIG mistake.
Mystery ranch popup 28, 100%. My wife and 3 boys all use them. They have adjustable sizing and fit smaller people well. We've packed multiple elk with them.
I've had my 2004 f150 since it was new. It's been a pretty good truck, but not without it's issues. Motor rebuild at 190k. If it weren't for my kids coming up I probably wouldn't have done it.
They all have issues, just maintain it and hope you don't get a lemon.
How's the ball joint job on these? I'm fixin to do my 15 Rubicon. Has a 3.5" aev and 35s. Also going to put on a fancy drag link by smart steer.
Also, how bout opinions on roof rack? Lookin at the Rhino stuff.
One of my favorite backpacking snacks that keeps well and packs a punch:
Peanut butter two tortillas and drizzle some honey on. Slap them together and cut into wedges like a pizza. Pack in zip locks. If you want to take it up a notch, put bacon on them.
