    Wyoming Elk Survey

If it were entirely up to the bio it would probably be general, which would be a bad deal for that area.

Add a tool box in the bed. Among the other things you mentioned, add a bottle Jack, shovel, and a breaker bar with socket for your lugs, and a full set of metric and sae sockets.

    Talk me out of zamberlans

Can’t talk you out of them. I have the Wasatches. Best mountain boots I’ve ever owned. I tried crispis, kenetreks, others? I can’t remember …. I like the soft heel of the zamberlan.

    7mm-08

I have experienced poor results with 139 gr lrx on elk. I watch my son shoot a bull 5x at 140 yards with them. All but one shot was behind the shoulder. Upon inspection we found that the bullets went right through, failing to cause much damage. Kinda stinks, because the bullets are readily...

    Light cheap accurate rifle

Seems like the bottom tier always need sime upgrades to meet my expectation. While many are accurate, it's worth the extra to go with tikka or other in that range to avoid the really cheap annoying stuff. I say this having hunted with a Savage 110 for many years.

Old 7mm mag Sako 85 model

I'm willing to bet there's nothing wrong with the rifle. If it were me I'd clean the barrel real good, check the action screws, scope, bases, rings, etc.. Run a few kinds of ammo through it. You might find a Sako that don't shoot, but it ain't common.

Old 7mm mag Sako 85 model

I'll give you 300 bucks for it.... J/K:ROFLMAO: You should be able to adjust the trigger. You can install a brake but they are honestly obnoxious. And they aren't a great idea with kids in my opinion because kids can't hear you in the field once they put hearing protection in. ... I...

    .300 WSM for Pronghorn?

When you hunt multiple biggame species in what is sometimes even in the span of a day, it's just handy to use one rifle.

    .300 WSM for Pronghorn?

We use the 300 wsm every year for antelope, deer, elk, etc... 180s generally. Good shooting is more important.
