Pillow help
Sorry Im probably not much help, but I use a folded up jacket. When my dad went along he took one of those roughly 18×18 sofa pillows. Bulky but he slept good- elkfanatic

No beef here for 17 years and counting. I process all my own meat and what I found works well is to get the meat cooled as quickly as possible, age for 2 weeks if possible, trim and discard all fat and silverskin. NC Deer Load
Any of them will work just fine on whitetails. I would probably go with the sst bullets. My experience has been they are easy to develop loads for and I have yet to find a rifle that doesn't shoot them well. Accurate, relatively cheap, and very devastating on deer size game.- elkfanatic
