    I like the one piece Dewey rods, proof positive jags, and Montana extreme cleaner. Just don't inhale the fumes!!! I used Montana extreme the first time in my house and it didn't take long for that to become a back porch project no matter the temperature outside!!

    Morning or Evening?

    For whitetail majority of kills are afternoon/ evening probably due to more man-hours in the woods because of work requirements. For pure enjoyment nothing beats watching the woods come alive in the morning though! Elk kills are split evenly between a.m. and p.m.

    Hoping to get out with my 12 year old in the morning if I make it home in time. On my way home from Colorado elk hunting right now. Still in Nebraska. Gonna try to make it!     Congrats on a successful hunt!! Could be your action screws are loose or scope rings and bases might have loosened up. I have also had a scope go bad on a hunt for unknown reasons. Hope you get it figured out!! What suppressor are you running?
