    Winchester Model 70 Sporter .264. My dad bought it back in the 80s before I was born and he has killed many deer/turkeys with it. Shot my first deer with it. Still my favorite and most reliable rifle I have.

    I appreciate the info. I found that 42.5 gr of Varget with 150 Hornady SST give me under 1 moa and even 3/4 moa if I do my part. I was just curious as to why such the huge difference.

    I did have a Weatherby Vanguard in 7mm that did not like the ELD-X in I believe 150 gr. I think it was a 1-9.5 twist. It really liked SST 150-155 gr but not the ELD-X. I have since sold the Weatherby and will be picking up a Seekins PH2 in 7mm that I'm excited to see what it will do.
