    I'm not sure about that. Our laws don't allow vegetation to be in the catch circle to avoid any entanglement. We can only use them from Dec 1 to Feb 15. I like using them in tall grass so I can blend them in. If conditions are right, they are a great tool.

    We can use cable restraints in WI. We have 24 hour check law on them. I don't know if I would want a longer time period with coyotes, they will chew on that cable until they are free. I went from 7x7 cable to 1x19 and that helps a lot on chew outs!!!! Awesome trap line!!!

    I'm going to bump this one up!! 2 weeks from today we roll west. Looks like the snow is gone for now and the temps are returning to normal this week. I hope they are still moving in 2 weeks!! I can't wait.

    Thanks for all the help. I know if I get creative, I can find a few hunts to look into. I'm open to a lot of ideas. The AZ Coues sounds fun. I beleive that Alaska might be the place to really look. Mnt. Goat, Sitka deer and bear migth be open in August. I'm not really interested in bears...

    Question about the logging layer on Onx. How old of a cut would you recommend hunting. I'm seeing some cuts from 2008 and older. I'm guessing cuts that are 1-3 years old would be best.
