.270 Win vs 30-06 Sprinfield (Debate)
My first big game rifle was a .270 win. I've killed deer, pronghorn, elk, and javelina with it without a problem. I'm sure a guy shooting a .30-06 could do the same with a little more recoil and not as flat of a trajectory. Ha!! -

Antelope...Lets See Them!!!
My first antelope. I shot it with a .270 win at approx. 200 yards. I hope to draw another tag...it's been a while. -

The Savage long range hunter has a 26" barrel although I believe 2" of that measurement is the muzzle break.
