    Question About Leukotape

Huge fan of LK here. I do a couple tricks. 1.) Tape sequence (a. tape from the back of heal to bottom "underneath" of heal, b. horizontally, c. vertically) Try to make sure the horizontal and vertical tape covers the ends of the underneath tape. This will help prevent the tape ends and corners...

    Cabelas alaskan guide series scope

I think I've got about the same scope as you. It is originally made by Meopta. I got mine from the bargain cave back in 2016. Full price was $1000, I got mine for $150. The description said it was out of right windage. It was actually fine, somebody must have gotten cold feet. I mounted mine on...

    Low Country Boil

Yep, I love doing fall boils almost as much as spring boils. Beautiful fall afternoons with a beer, boil and friends helps get my mind of not being in the field.

    Brass Trimming

Folks, I'm a fairly new reloader. I've reloaded about 1000 rounds of pistol cartridges and just started reloading rifle rounds. I'm currently working up a load for 300 WSM. The Hornady and Nosler manuals call for a trim length of 2.1". I've got the following brass at the stated trim lengths...

I am a relatively new member to HT. I would like to say that the ugliness on this forum is far less than other forums. I like it here for that reason and the "WHY".

Looking for recommendations on duck calls.

A lot of good suggestions on this thread. I've owned a number of the calls suggested previously. I'd suggest buying a 2-3 of the entry level calls to see what you like the best. Echo, RNT, and Zink all make good single reeds. Try 1 or 2 single reeds and 1 or 2 double reeds. I haven't used a...

Who else uses a tag as a purchase excuse?

I’ve used tags as an excuse in the past. It caught up to me this year. The wife wanted the master bath remodeled. It was pricey but worth it. Lord knows she deserves it for supporting my hunting trips and expenditures.
